Walking the Great South West Walk
Walking the Great South West Walk or part of the Walk is magnificent. The walk is a 250km walk of renown of international standing and is often described as a symphony in four parts: The Coboboonee Forest, The Glenelg River and Gorge, Discovery Bay Beach and Mount Richmond, The three Capes and Bays. Yet those who walk a section of the Walk are soon singing its praises.
One of the beauties of the Great South West Walk is its accessibility, you can do a number of shorter walks as well as the entire track. Many groups use a combination of canoeing, walking and push bike riding (on roads near the walk) to vary the trip. There are also several loop walks and sixteen camp sites with a fireplace, table, pit toilet and rain water supply. So if you are an individual, part of a group or simply passing through the area and want a day out, or even some local knowledge, please contact us and we will reply ASAP.
